2012 College Football: Arkansas Razorback News and Notes
By Ryan Wright
Fayetteville, Ark. – Monday afternoon Arkansas Razorback head coach John L. Smith addressed the media on a few Hog loose ends.
The Razorbacks will be getting two starters back on the field on Saturday, Cobi Hamilton and Jason Peacock.
Hamilton left the Jacksonville State game early in the first half after taking a head-on hit from a Gamecock’s defensive lineman. Hamilton’s “bell” was rung and was held out of the rest of the game as a precautionary measure. He returned to practice on Monday.
Offensive tackle Jason Peacock sat out Saturday’s game due to a suspension stemming from his arrested during the spring. Peacock served his one-game suspension and will be made available for the University of Louisiana Monroe game this Saturday in Little Rock.
No word if Peacock will resume his role as a starter or if Saturday’s starter, David Hurd, will keep his position with the first team.
