College Basketball: Razorbacks Complete Four-Game Exhibition Sweep

Rome, Italy – Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson guided the men’s Razorback basketball team through a four-game exhibition tour sweep of Lithuanian pro teams and Italian All-Star teams winning their final game on Friday 93-73.

BJ Young had a great all around game for the Razorbacks on Friday finishing with 22 points on 9 of 12 shooting with 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals.

Forward Marshawn Powell returned to action after being held out of game three for precautionary reasons (knee), scoring 10 points.

Forward Coty Clarke had 17 and 8 with coupled with Mardracus Wade’s 11 points and 6 steals to outpace the Italian All-Star team.

The game was never in doubt with Arkansas stretching the lead to 30 points during the game before winning by 20.

Young, Clarke, and Wade were consistent scores and playmakers for the Hogs throughout their four-game tour. On Tuesday Wade had a game-high 19 against Atletas Kaunas pacing the Hogs to an 84-67 win.

On Monday Young led the Hogs with 16 points over the same Atletas Kaunas team in a 95-84 win.

Wade kicked off the tour with a 24 point game against Amici del Campetto Select on Sunday. Arkansas posted their highest point total in the initial game winning 129-89.
