After a one-point win against Ole Miss, Arkansas readies for a semi-final game against Vanderbilt.

Arkansas Razorbacks basketball may have been a rollercoaster this season but not nearly as up and down as Vanderbilt. Today, however, both teams are riding high on success.

The Razorbacks are coming off of a close win against Ole Miss in their fist game of the SEC Tournament. Mike Anderson and his Hog squad found a way to pull off a close win and advance.

In front of them is Brice Drew and his Vanderbilt team. The Commodores are on fire after they knocked out Florida yesterday in order to make it to the semi-final game today. According to the BPI, Flordia was the favorite to win the whole kit and kaboodle.

Checking in with oddsshark.com, the Commodores come into this matchup as the favorite. The Spread is currently at -3.5 in favor of Vandy with the predicted score at 72-68.8.

Earlier in the season, the Razorbacks made the trip to take on Vandy in Nashville. The game came down to Daryl Macon making three free throw shots at the very end to give Arkansas the last second lead.

In a second meeting, however, the Hogs weren’t so lucky. Vanderbilt came to Bud Walton and shot the lights out to beat Arkansas 72-59. All five starters for Vandy had double-digit scoring and that was without their leading scorer Mathew Fisher-Davis.

Arkansas has their work cut out for them. Vandy is in a groove and has all the momentum heading into this game. The Razorbacks are going to have to defend the perimeter while playing up to their potential offensively. If they play like they did last night, Arkansas doesn’t stand a chance of a win.

The Hogs vs Vandy tips off today around 2:30 p.m. in Nashville. The game will be on ESPN as well as the ESPN app and Watch ESPN online. Woo pig!
