University of Arkansas Announces “Hogs Care Week”

An open letter from the University of Arkansas alumni association to help promote “Hogs Care Week.”

Dear University of  Arkansas Alumni Leaders and Fans,

The Arkansas Alumni Association, Young Alumni Board (YAB), University of Arkansas’ Division of Student Affairs and Razorback Athletics are pleased to announce an exciting new project: Hogs Care Week! This year, Hogs Care Week will take place from February 25th through March 2nd.

What is Hogs Care Week? The purpose of Hogs Care Week is to honor the University of Arkansas through service and random acts of kindness. Our goal is to foster the culture of giving and service that exists innately within all members of our U of A family.

Anyone can participate in Hogs Care Week- students, alumni, and friends. You can join in by serving in your community and by committing random acts of kindness, like buying someone a cup of coffee on a cold day. When you participate in Hogs Care Week, we encourage you to help spread the word and inspire others by sharing your Hogs Care Week story via social media or email. To learn more and to find out how you can “share the care” with your fellow Hogs, visit our website at www.HogsCare.com.

We encourage you to spread the word to your chapters, societies, and boards and to begin thinking of ways that you can show that Hogs care across the globe! We have attached a Fact Sheet and News Release to help you garner publicity for this effort in your local area. There is also a Facebook picture attached for your use if you so choose.

Thanks, in advance, for your support of Hogs Care Week and please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions. I look forward to seeing how each of your groups get involved in this great effort! Wooo Pig Sooie!
