College Football Recruiting: Arkansas Gets Third Verbal for 2014 Class

North Little Rock, Ark. – Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema secured the third verbal commitment for his 2014 recruiting class on Monday when North Little Rock running back Juan Day announced the Razorbacks as his team of the future.

Day, 6’2”, 210 pounds, 4.5 forty-yard dash, rushed for 930 with 13 touchdowns during the 2012 season all while splitting snaps with Alabama commitment Altee Tenpenny.

The Charging Wildcats prospect was injured in 2011 requiring surgery for his broken ankle. During the 2010 season he rushed for 771 yards with five touchdowns on 76 attempts. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown and split time at linebacker.

When Day steps on the field for the Hogs he will be following in the foot steps of his cousin, former Arkansas running back Cedric Cobbs.
