Fayetteville, Ark. – University of Arkansas football players Maudrecus Humphrey (20), Marquel Wade (20), and Andrew Peterson (19) pleaded not guilty to four Class D felony arrests.

The three residential burglaries and one theft of property charges for Wade, Peterson, and Humphrey are part of a May 12 arrest due to property stolen from the Northwest Quads, Building B, dating back to May 2 earlier this year.

The items stolen amounted to a total of $4,817 and included textbooks, DVDs, money, and laptops.

Each currently suspended football player has a trial date scheduled for August 27 in Fayetteville Circuit Court.

Arkansas head football coach John L. Smith previously commented on the players arrest stating that the player’s future status with the team depends on the court’s final decision.
