Two great SEC series highlighted last weekend’s schedule with then No. 12 LSU traveling to No. 1 Florida and No. 10 Mississippi taking on No. 8 Kentucky.

Kentucky won their fourth SEC series of the year winning two of three games against the Rebels in Lexington- 3-2, 3-9, and 8-3. The Wildcats continued their strong play at home where they hold a 22-1 record on the season.

LSU took two of three from Florida in Gainesville to push their SEC West lead to one game over the Razorbacks. The Tigers are one of only three SEC teams with winning records away from home- Kentucky 7-2 and Florida 6-4.

Alabama showed signs of life sweeping Auburn, MSU took two of three from Vandy, and South Carolina bounced back from a Friday loss to win their series against Tennessee.

The Razorbacks held onto second place in the SEC West by winning their series at home versus Georgia.
